Dobell Regional Teachers Drawing Workshops

Teachers from country areas of NSW are brought together with their peers and offered an opportunity to improve their own drawing skills. The workshops also offer a forum for discussing new approaches and ideas for their classrooms.

The Regional Teacher Training Workshops have a multiplier effect with visual arts teachers returning to their students with fresh perspectives and new techniques that benefit students.

The workshop locations have included: Albury, Armidale, Batemans Bay, Bathurst, Bulli, Cowra, Dubbo, Gilgandra, Griffith, Lake Munmorah, Maitland, Moree, Mullumbimby, Murwillumbah, Narooma, Narrabri, Port Macquarie, Tamworth, Tweed Heads and Wollongong.

If there has ever been a program that manifests Sir William Dobell’s wishes to support the development of young artists in NSW, it is this one."
